Product Description
- Dominator ReNew without graphite.
- These base prep waxes are formulated to deeply penetrate ski or snowboard bases.
- They allow a very hard layer of wax to remain on the surface which helps better protect bases.
- Traditional base prep waxes are usually very soft...and while they penetrate deeply into bases, still remain soft on the surface and wear quicker.
- Use this as a storage, travel, new base prep or fresh-stoneground wax.
- Available with or without graphite (graphite can help resist dirt and contaminants but may discolor white bases).
ReNew ZOOM waxes are deeply penetrating base conditioners in Graphite and Non-Graphite formulas providing both base impregnation and surface protection.
Why recondition the base ? Dry base is a very common problem caused by several factors: stonegrinding, use of base cleaners, aggressive snow, repetitive use of hard waxes, and failure to wax. Additionally, new skis and boards can have dry bases because factory wax, often buffed on, is non-penetrating.

Excellent base prep wax
One of my favorite base prep waxes. Cleans bases well with a hot scrape and creates a nice, hard base layer for glide waxes. Glide waxes seem to stick to the Renew base layer very well. I've noticed that I can get away with two or three more ski days before reapplying more glide wax when I use this base prep wax. Also, this wax is nice for ski bases that aren't black. It's not a performance issue. But this wax won't discolor lighter colored bases. Overall, 5-star base prep wax.

Best I've found for base prep!
Switched to Dominator wax last year and couldn't be happier. Using Renew w/Graphite for base prep with great results... Best base prep wax I've ever used. After using for all of last season 've noticed a marked improvement in base condition AND I have never seen another wax go on as good as Renew/Graphite.

a must for new skis
this wax is a MUST after a stone grind or before you take out brand new skis. This stuff soaks in quickly to fresh bottoms and is the perfect base for your usual wax.

Best way to clean bases
I've been using the drip, spread over base, remove in molten form procedure for years and I find my universal temp wax lasts a bit longer. This is my favorite base prep wax.

Clean your skis!
Melts at a low enough temperature to really soak in. Graphite lifts the gunk out of the ski when you do a hot scrape. Highly recommended.

Dominator Base Prep Wax
I like this stuff a lot and use it in the absence of Race Service 1 Special Base Prep- the yellow stuff. I'm not enough of a wax chemist to know which one is best, but when we had a race shop in Jackson, Jared the owner raved about the Race service 1 so when I finished the bar of Dominator BP I had, I got one and really liked it. In truth, for the level of skiing most people do, either is an order of magnitude beyond what your average pedestrian one week a year blue circle skier has any clue about.

Must Have Wax
Base prep is the most overlooked step in creating fast, well nourished ski bases. This is the best product to do it. It is soft, so it penetrates deeply. It pulls out debris well when hot scraping and stays deep holding onto surface skiing waxes so they last longer.
