Durable and supportive
This is my second review and I'd like to raise it to 5 stars now. After having this footbed for several years, it really held up over time even though my boots haven't. Regarding the grippy sole, it's not a problem anymore with newer snowboarding boots that have bigger openings. I've had 3 of these insoles. One major change that happened was the shape of the front. The toe area used to be more round and wide now it's more pointy and narrow. I found that I need to size up then trim it to get the wider width I need.

footbeds
I never have trouble putting my ski boots on. I do with these footbeds though. Socks don't slide very well.

Downunders Footbeds
It's summer so I haven't had a chance to try these on the snow yet, but so far I'm very disappointed with them. I have very high arches and have worn these in running shoes 3-4 days/week for about 6 weeks, to get them to mold to my feet before winter. Although they have molded to the outer edge of my arches, they haven't molded to the inner part of my arches like my Sole insoles, and my arches don't feel supported. Nice heel cups. When used in athletic shoes, the larger holes in the looping pattern on the top surface get lots of little bits of debris stuck in them that later work their way out onto the footbeds, so I have to remove the shoes frequently to get rid of the debris. That wouldn't be an issue if used only in ski or snowboard boots, but is a downside for other uses.

It really works
What a difference this footbed makes compare to my factory one. It reduced my heel lift and as a result my navicular bone no longer hurts. I'm deducting one star from it because of the rubbery material it uses that makes sliding in my feet with sock very hard. The rubber grips the bottom of the socks and pulls it back. It takes a while to get the socks to flatten inside the liner. Hopefully they can update this material to something that's easier to slide into in the future.

Best I've Tried!
Ordered the size 10 for my 27.5 Lange boots, fit nicely in the liner with minimal trimming required. So far, I've put in 6 hours of skiing on these and I'm very pleased with the level of support they provide. They take up more volume than my previous footbeds (Sidas) which helps with the overall fit of the boots. Obviously everyone had different feet so I'll just say if you require a normal level of arch support, these are worth a shot. IMO, the DownUnders are superior to the Sidas and SOLE footbeds I've tried. One note and this is not necessarily a negative, but the material on the top of the footbed doesn't provide a nice sliding surface against your typical thin wool ski sock. This could make it more difficult for some to get their boots on and off. On the flip side, this does keep the foot in place on top of the footbed. Perhaps this will break in a little over time.

So far so Good
The Downunder footbeds required the slightest amount of trimming to fit in my ski boot. I've worn them about ten times since getting them and find them to be most comfortable and supportive. They replaced my custom orthotics which were beginning to cause pain in my feet. I only gave them 4 stars as I can't vouch yet for durability but otherwise these footbeds are a top notch product.

Very comfortable footbeds
I like those footbeds. This is my second set. I bought my first set for hard shell snowboarding boots and I added second for my soft boots. It feels much better than OEM footbeds or some over the counter athletic footbeds.

Couldn't be happier
Great support and totally lives up to what was advertised. These Downunder footbeds were easy to fit to my ski boots and they are very comfortable and functional. Couldn't be happier with the product.

I likey
Didn't give it a Five Star because I haven't tried ALL the footbeds out there. But I do like them more than my Superfeet.
