    Product Description

    These simple puppies pull ski brake arms up and out of your way for tuning ski bases and edges. They feature a sturdy round rubber loop with a handy finger pull and hook so you don't pinch a pinkie in the process. 

    • They go on fast and easy, and work great. 
    • Get a few so you don't have to switch 'em back and forth between skis while tuning.
    • Sold each.

    How to use:

    1. With the ski base side down, press down on the brake to retract the brake arms.
    2. Put the rubber loop around the brake arm opposite you.
    3. With your finger in the orange plastic loop stretch the rubber band over the top of the heel piece and hook the underside of the brake arm closest to you with the orange plastic hook.

      If you tune your own skis, you need 'em. If you tune your family's skis, you need many of 'em.

      I have been using this style retainer since they were first introduced. The best method for holding ski brakes.

      These things are awesome - yes, rubber bands work, but these are much easier and faster to use.

      Brake retainer - a useful tool

      This is a very useful and easy to use tool if you ever work on your ski bases (waxing, tuning, repair). It is very easy to use and it keeps the ski brakes out of the way while you work. Order at least two, so you can have one for each ski. That way you don't have to keep switching it from one ski to the other. I have used other methods of keeping the brakes out of the way too. But nothing works as well as these rubber brake retainers.

      I've used heavy rubber band retainers for years. This design is much easier to put on and take off and does a good job of keeping the brake out of the way when I'm tuning skis.

      Nicest ski brake retainer I've used. Thick rubber, should last! I liked the first ones enough to buy more. Get' em!
