Product Description
These simple puppies pull ski brake arms up and out of your way for tuning ski bases and edges. They feature a sturdy round rubber loop with a handy finger pull and hook so you don't pinch a pinkie in the process.
- They go on fast and easy, and work great.
- Get a few so you don't have to switch 'em back and forth between skis while tuning.

How to use:
- With the ski base side down, press down on the brake to retract the brake arms.
- Put the rubber loop around the brake arm opposite you.
- With your finger in the orange plastic loop stretch the rubber band over the top of the heel piece and hook the underside of the brake arm closest to you with the orange plastic hook.

Quick & Easy
Put enough bands on and off skis and your fingers get a bit bashed at times. This makes it quick and easy. I should have bought a few more as I like to line up the family skis and service them all in one go - all with their own bands on for the duration.

Simple but effective
Brake retainer. Simple but essential. This item uses sturdy rubber. The plastic loop makes slipping this on/off easy. Like enough to plan to order a few more

Great brake retainer - far better than simple rubber bands
This is much easier to use than simpler rubber band type brake retainers. With your finger in the plastic circle, hook the loop on one brake paddle, compress the brake with your free hand, loop the rubber strap over the binding and then retain the other brake paddle with the hook portion of the plastic. Very easy to release. Convenient and fast. Rubber strap is sturdy, strong enough to retain a stiff brake spring, but not too hard to stretch and seems like it will last for quite a long time.

Bought on a whim
I have always used a bungie cord or duke rubberband. Thought i would try one of these. Works okay. To me it feels like (and does) slip off too easily. Maybe its because I am only using it on wide brakes (115mm+)? The plastic loop does have a good non-slip purchase to the brake, unlike a rubberband.

Fix the plastic hook properly.
These are the most convenient set of brake retainers that I have ever use. Quick and easy. Pay attention and properly set the hook over a protuberance on the brakes.

Best without the plastic rings
The plastic rings get in the way from laying the ski s down on their sides. I removed them and use the rubber band alone. This works well when using the FK Multi edge tuner /stones to tune edge sides and bottoms.

on kids skis from 72mm waist up to my wider skis at 118, these work great. I bought 4, and couldn't be happier. Great and simple toolkit addition.
