- Get a few so you don't have to switch 'em back and forth between skis while tuning.
- Sold each.
How to use:
- With the ski base side down, press down on the brake to retract the brake arms.
- Put the rubber loop around the brake arm opposite you.
- With your finger in the orange plastic loop stretch the rubber band over the top of the heel piece and hook the underside of the brake arm closest to you with the orange plastic hook.

WAY better than rubber bands!
I was introduced to these in the freezing cold at the top of Alyeska. They are SO much better than rubber bands- stronger, and easier on the fingers.

good, simple, could be a bit better
If there was some kind of rubber / grippy surface on the part that grabs the brake, they'd be perfect. As is, they slide like crazy if you don't get them in just the right spot. Otherwise, very easy to use and durable.

Best I have used
The retainer finger loop is easy to use and the integrated hook pulls the brake down far enough to be completely out of the way.

Something simple that does what it is supposed to do. My favorite brake holder.

easy to use
simple and effective at keeping the brakes out of the way. Why did i wait so long to add these to my tool box?

Great Tool
I really like these gadgets. They are so stupid simple to use and they go on and off really quickly. Much better than rubber bands or cut off inner tube rounds to hold the brakes. They hold the brakes in full retraction mode to clear to bases of the skis for edging or waxing tools.

Easier Brake Retainer
I have a number of these that I use in my home shop. I have used other retainers in the past including rubber bands. I find these easier to use and they hold very well. Although they are more expensive than other devices, I find that they are well worth the price!
