    Product Description

    No, this ain't for shaving beards or 5 o'clock shadows...it's a tool for scraping any ski or snowboard base after they've been stoneground or hand-structured. The sharp blades help remove unwanted p-tex micro-hairs for faster base glide. To use, tilt the handle in the direction of travel with the blade following behind...like using a paintbrush. We recommend about 10 light passes per ski, with blade replacement after shaving a dozen pair of skis.

    • Handle of tool opens to store up to 4 spare blades.
    • Blade measures 4" (102mm) wide.

      Tried this for shaving off the "hairs" left by the structure tool and it works great. Nice clean surface left behind. It's also good for cleaning off most of the excess P-tex on repairs.

      This tool works good for cleaning off the unwanted p-tex after you patch your skis up. With the time you save you can continue on to your waxing sooner.
