    Product Description

    Sometimes pre-cut boot fitting pads don't do exactly what you need. We offer this 1/8" thick self-adhesive foam in a large sheet that you can cut with scissors to any desired shape.

    • Firm material.
    • Material can be sanded to blend transition if desired. 
    • It has a pressure-sensitive, self-adhesive coating on one side.
    • 10" x 10" (25cm x 25cm) squares.
    • 1/8" Thick.
    • Sold each.

      Pluses ----------- Easy to cut Sticks well Sands easy with a Dremel sanding disk Minuses -------------- Sand makes a mess. Lots of black crumbs. This is at least my 3rd order of foam.

      Boot Fitting Foam

      An invaluable tool for the DIY boot tinkerer. Works like charm to snug up your boot fit. The foam sticks surprisingly well when applied. I expected I would need to tape over the foam and liner but didn't need to. In my case my liners were only two seasons old but lost a little of the original heel hold on my chicken ankles that I had when the boots were new. Try these before investing $200-300 for custom liners.

      I purchased the butterfly shaped boot fitting foam, which worked great to fix the ankle space created after breaking in my Adidas boots. The reason for the butterfly was the wrap around foam on the heel, as with the adidas boots there is no padding so it caused significant achilles pain. I then used this to create custom C to add further grip on around the sides, and no more heel lift!

      Great for DIY bootfitting

      These blanks are great for DIY bootfitting. I have used them to make narrowing pads for a few pairs of boots, and the foam is durable and easy to work with. The adhesive has not failed.

      Exactly as advertised: can be sanded to a thin taper, sticks to plastic shell and can be layered for precise fit. Must have for any serious skier/ XC skier.
