To achieve the most durable base repairs when using a repair pistol or iron, use this special roller. Simply bear down on the handle and rock the curved aluminum base over the freshly patched area immediately after melting repair material into place, this forces out any air bubbles in the repair and helps it bond down to the very bottom of the gouge. The tool also serves as a "heat sink", drawing heat away from steel when making p-tex repairs alongside metal edges.
- Machined from hi-grade 7075 aluminum with teflon-impregnated anodizing to keep it from pulling up any base material.
