Final polish
Great product for a variety of reasons, works great wrapped around a cork and used to do a final wax polish on overlays or wax of the day!

Works well but thinner than the Toko version
Nice big roll for the price. The material is thinner, though than my previous pack of Toko fiberlene. All good. Love using hot waxing--GREATLY reduces scraping later.

Good product for cleaning without leaving lint
Good product for cleaning off debris and wiping things down without leaving lint. Also much stronger than paper towels. However, don't expect it to absorb nearly as much as a nice thick paper towel or absorbent rag. Sort of expensive for what it is, but if you use it on the role to wipe relatively dry things down occasionally rather than using it like a paper towel role it will last quite a long time - just remove one revolution of the role when the outer layer accumulates debris all the way around so that there is no clean spot.

this aint paper towel
I found this very useful while waxing particularly between brushing. A cheap paint brush compliments the fibrelene cloth well.

Great for wipe-down but not too absorbant
Sharpening and waxing here in the desert is an electric experience, to say the least. Filings and dust and bits of wax tend to stick to everything that comes near, which makes Swix Fiberlene's anti-static properties very, very handy. It's sturdy enough to pull by hand under the iron to spread wax evenly while protecting your bases from overheating, and great for rubbing wax off of your edges if you're too lazy to reach over to pick up something else. However, Swix fiberlene is a thin paper, so it's not very absorbent, and if you're a member of the hate-to-scrape club you'll need a different paper to soak up excess wax on your last pass. Both Toko's and SVST's papers are thicker and will do a better job of leaving just a thin layer of wax so you can get to brushing sooner. Stronger is also better for cleaning stones and diamond files after spraying them with my 50% water/50% alcohol solution, and I think they do a better job of protecting bases from high heat. So I keep both around: Swix paper for wiping filings and wax away while I'm working, and either Toko or SVST paper for ironing and heavier cleanup. As an aside, I've also developed an embarrassing affection for lint free blue paper shop towels. They're too heavy for waxing, and don't have that anti-static thing going, but they're strong, absorbent and, most importantly, cheap.

Good, I guess
I decided to try out the special towels. I'm not sure what the advantage is, paper towels seems to work about the same.

A Need For Everyone's Shop
Works well to wipe off bases after applying a base cleaner and after you finish scraping. Soft and not abrasive which is nice. Everyone's shop should have a roll.

Very Handy
Quickly removed wax residue after scraping. Just wipe the roll across the ski base every now and then.
