Use a sheet of this thick, lint-free absorbent paper between your iron and the ski or snowboard base during your last tip-to-tail pass when hot waxing. It will absorb excess wax and make scraping easier. I can also help protect the base from overheating when applying very cold waxes. Use it in the springtime to lift dirt and contaminants out of the base.
