Swix base klister spray is intended to be first layer applied to the base of a ski. It provides a foundation for the klister of the day (either traditional or spray), increasing durability and reducing the chance of the klister sliding on the base.

- The Base klister is applied by holding the bottle upside down and move it slowly along the ski on both sides of the groove.
- Distance between the base and nozzle should be 4-5 cm.
