Works great
It's the only brush I use, or ever have for that matter. I use it after scraping, and it gets me from 'scraped wax' to 'no friction to the touch', and that's where I want to get to. I've used it for years, and, although it's got plenty of residue buildup by now, still does its job.

Now I understand . . . .
I have tuned alpine and nordic skis for years - using a variety of brushes from Tognar and others. I have used two of the earlier iterations of the Blue Nylon Brush, but they have been completely eclipsed by the new Blue Nylon Brush - SOFT from Tognar. I now see those fine particles/dust coming up out of the ski base structure. Previously, I had only read about getting this deep into the structure; now I'm there. If you want to put a shine on your skis, order this brush.

Good as a backup, only fair quality.
The nylon brush is good, but the brass and horsehair brushes are already shedding bristles after very little use. I imagine they will last through the season, but I didn't expect them to self-destruct so quickly. I am generally not hard on my tools, and use them only in appropriate ways, so it surprised me to see them start falling apart. I will probably switch these out to be my on mountain brushes so that I don't need to rely on them.

Brush It Off
I have purchased three brushes from Tognar: The Nylon Oval, Short Horse Hair Oval and the Brass Rectangular a basic must have for waxing. I love the quality and the results. I am very satisfied with all the Tognar products I have purchased and will always buy from them even if they are far from Austria

Good one brush solution.
I have had 4 or 5 different types of ski brushes in my tools box and they all served their particular purpose to make the ski go FAST but if on the road or on a budget this single brush will make it possible not to win races by fractions of a second but rather beat other powder seekers on traverses that did not do a basic but quality wax job the day before.

works well, but bristles should be more equal in length
I purchased the brash brush for base cleaning and hard wax application. The brush works well but is streaky. It seems some of the bristle packs are not real even in length and small bundles stick out further (albient a small amount) and don't apply even pressure and can cause some streaking in the base. Picky, I know, but only thing I could say bad about the brush really.

Excellent Brushes
I purchased the brass brush and the nylon brush. Both met my expectations. They are quality products and work exactly as advertised.
